CASE STUDIES
Below is a short case study of some of our recent commissions:
Bristol CCTV Link Scheme - We acted as Contract Administrators and Planning Supervisors for this Home Office funded £1M scheme. We developed the specification and issued the tender documents, evaluated the tender responses, appointed the Contractor and supervised the entire works. The scheme comprised the installation of 47 new city centre cameras and the connection to the new fibre-optic network of a further 13 existing cameras. The cameras are connected to the an existing control room by fibre-optic cables and associated transmission equipment. A duct network was created consisting of over 12,000 m of ducts. A new digital recoding system was also installed comprising hard disk storage of over 11 TB of data. There are also comprehensive data links to local and county police headquarters buildings.
New cameras around - Bristol city centre
St Paul's and St Jude's CCTV Scheme (Bristol) - Acting as Contract Administrators on behave of the Council, we have managed this Home Office funded £1.5M project from the tender evaluation stage to its highly successful completion. The project called for the construction of a new monitoring control and the installation of 121 cameras spread around both the St Paul's and St Jude's estates. Despite many local difficulties, including a deadly dispute between armed gangs at St Paul's, the project has been completed on time, within budget, to a high standard and is technologically advanced. The system uses fibre-optic transmission throughout with all cameras being recorded on a digital video recording system that has hard disk storage of over 11 TB. A touch screen system with graphic site plans aids the monitoring staff in the operation of the camera system. We have extended the original scope to include data links to local and county police headquarters buildings. These data links allow easy remote access by the police to both live and recorded images over a secure and auditable network. We have also link other monitoring control rooms into the system. This scheme has great benefited the residents of the 600 or so dwellings on the two estates, greatly reducing anti-social behavior, crime and the fear of crime.
The new control and monitoring centre
The Corporate Headquarters of a FSTE 100 Company, London - We were sub-contracted to another consultancy firm as Technical Security Consultants for this highly prestigious project within central London. This system comprises of a large number of CCTV cameras and a comprehensive digital video recording system. Central to the security system is an advanced access control and alarm monitoring system. Due to the specific and challenging customer requirements we have designed a system that is technologically advanced and includes many innovative features that make this installation a highly effective and user friendly system.
Current on going projects include works on two New Deal for Communities projects which include CCTV and comprehensive door entry systems.
Previous Projects:
We have been involvement in the installation and project management of integrated access control systems at various sites in and around London. These have included the installation, project management and commissioning of an integrated security system at the refurbished embassy of a Far Eastern government. We have project managed and commissioned a multi-site access control system for a leading international software house.
Past projects include the Access Control and Concierge Specification for a £500K Local Authority Housing project for 500 dwellings.

| We have also successfully completed within budget and time a local Authority Housing scheme consisting of a number of blocks of marionettes that including providing door-entry and concierge systems. We have provided the fully consultancy service from funding and feasibility studies, to tender specification and documentation to tender management though to full Project Management. |

specific projects that have also been involved with include the replacement and upgrade of the access control
and intruder alarm system at the European HQ of one of the worlds largest
companies. The access
control systems and CCTV systems for media companies, advertising and television production
companies, insurance brokers, museums and city of London solicitors. |

card technologies including "smart" cards. |
